Delhi/ Khajuraho - Remembering that the most important part of traveling is traveling!

    November 27, 2016

Delhi felt a bit less confusing than Mumbai, more green areas, a little bit less honks on traffic and a brilliant subway system. (Still very busy though!)

There we managed to meet with 3 entrepreneurs to get our project started. All of them confirming how helpful Indians are, always making all they can to make sure we have a good experience. (Will get into the project on future posts)

Our counch surfing time in Delhi was very good again, a heavy traveller couple that suggested us other places to go in India, so we changed a little bit our travel plans... how it was supposed to happen! Not to say that they helped us to arrange train tickets, accommodations and etc..

(Sanjay teaching Re how to eat some Indian snacks!)

On the way to Khajuraho we met some backpackers from Argentina lost in the train station like us. They were the ones reminding us about that the spirit of traveling is to put yourself into the experience, live it as a whole: talk to people, be open, share... as much as we step out of our comfort zone, the better will be our trip. Specially that we are travelling as a couple, it's easy and comfortable to be just the two of us. The travelling (train, busses, etc.) parts of the trip are the ones the best offer opportunities to get to know other people... take advantage of it! 😃

Yesterday, we experienced one of those unique things with them and another couple from Spain: met some kids on the village that showed us their school, which ended up being a very beautiful project done by an Indian guy. Maybe our project Bagagem Lab can support somehow his organization. Let's see!

Thank you guys for the lesson and for the experience!

We are now on the train, on our way to Varanasi!

    Greets,
